Published in a very small and limited print run, Bear Pond is Bruce Weber's beautiful celebration of the beauty of nature, dogs, and the masculine form, his three greatest intertwined passions. Dedicated to his then-ailing longtime friend and colleague Donald Sterzin, it was published to benefit the AIDS Resource Center of New York City and contains the moving original poem Gold Day by Reynolds Price. Widely regarded as the photographer's finest work, Bear Pond has been cited on pages 346-347 of the influential The Hasselblad Center's The Open Book. This copy is signed by Bruce Weber.
