Cuevas was the legendary disc-jockey at Le Palace known for a creative mix featuring the funk and soul of the Philadelphia Sound, along with his close connections to the world of high fashion. As for the singer, actress and supermodel, Grace Jones, she performed a disco cover of Edit Piaf's classic La Vie En Rose during the opening of the Parisian nightclub and grazed the cover of the very first issue of Le Palace Magazine.
