Scarce. From fashion design to photography, Gosha Rubchinskiy is clearly leading the effervescent Russian creative scene with his skateboarding culture and post-Soviet aesthetic. Two subjects strongly related to Russia's modern-day youth that can be found in his out-of-print book Youth Hotel. When asked about the project, Rubchinskiy explained it in his own words to i-D magazine as follows : "Over the last two seasons, whenever Lotta's [his stylist, friend and frequent collaborator Lotta Volkova] been over for shoots she stayed in the Youth Hotel. It was built for the Moscow Olympics, it's very cool, beautiful. After shoots we go to bars and then go back to the hotel because it's cheap and quiet, we can do after-parties inside. I took a few pictures in and around the rooms".
